Although the forest is natural forest, the area in the forest is nurtured by volunteers who provide the right growing conditions for the different plants. It is beautiful to walk around the paths in the forest and see the alternating scenery. The forest's alternating habitats provide good conditions for insects, birds and plants. The photograph for our peaceforest poster shows a tree with a thick ivy slinging its way up from its trunk. The picture is taken in September just before autumn sets in.
