These earrings are asymmetrical with one negative silhouette and one positive silhouette These earrings are completely handmade in the USA by the designer from pure sterling silver and custom-etched copper plates. The copper plates on the earrings measure 7/16" (1.1 cm) x 7/8" (2.2 cm) -- the total drop adds about 3/4" for a total length of 1-5/8" (4.1 cm) ******** THE PROCESS: After preparing the art for this design, I use an acid bath to etch the artwork deep into the copper plates.
