About kolor

kolor is a berlin-based design studio for minimalist and colourful interior products, such as shelves, furniture handles and wall hooks. the focus is on functionality, timelessness and setting accents, preferably in bold colours, especially neon. how are kolor products made? studio kolor is ethical and feels responsible for producing consciously. production is preferably and mainly in germany, as regional as possible, e.g. the steel comes from the ruhr area and the manufacturer is based in saxony. the packaging is die-cut in berlin, designed by us and very reduced in shape and made of ordinary grey cardboard. this cardboard is easy to recycle and is already partly made of recycled material. studio kolor designs and produces products that it likes to use itself. they have to match their minimalist taste, should be simple and ideally timeless. they like the charm of the handmade because it has a certain beauty that makes it special. for example, the wall hooks are handmade, and you can see that on closer inspection. the paper bags are hand-printed using a screen-printing process, and it can sometimes happen that a print has streaks, making it unique. they are also compostable. the manufacturer says you can even eat them. last but not least, people with special needs are involved. they assemble and decorate them.Read their story
