These beautiful and lightweight, dangling earrings are made of ceramic beads. We make the beads ourselves from clay using a pre-Hispanic technique from Colombia. The "Quetzal Tail" design resembles the beautiful and unique tail of the Guatemalan national bird, the Quetzal. The earrings are mirrored and can be worn inwards or outwards (see photos), making this special design very eye-catching. These earrings are handmade by our community of indigenous artisans in Santiago Atitlán, also famous for their textile embroidery of birds. Your purchase enables us to keep supporting them.
