Blank inside Launched in 1889 by Léon Deschamps, La Plume was a French literary and artistic review showcasing the avant-garde movement through poems, stories, reviews, and, of course, illustrations! The magazine's headquarters in rue Bonaparte became a hub for creativity, hosting the renowned Salon des Cent exhibitions. In a remarkable tribute to Alphonse Mucha's talent, six special editions were exclusively dedicated to his work. Alphonse Mucha (1860–1939) is celebrated for his distinctive style, characterized by intricate patterns, flowing lines, and ethereal female figures that defined the Art Nouveau movement. His work profoundly shaped the visual aesthetics of the late 19th and early 20th centuries, and today, he remains one of history’s most beloved and iconic artists! This product was custom designed and created at our location in Seattle.
