About Maria rosua

My name is Maria Rosúa, I was born in Rosario, Argentina, into a family of female artists and entrepreneurs. They taught me art through play, and by observing them, I learned that within me, I had all the tools at my disposal to create and be independent. From a young age, materials, colors, shapes, and making were part of everyday life. I studied with artisans who taught me techniques and opened the door to the world of creation. Over the years, playing in the workshop allowed me to create and express myself. At each stage and moment of my life, I find different materials with which I design, from metal as a base combined with wood, 3D printing, patinas, paint, and recycled plastics. I seek for my pieces to show the contact with the material, the imperfection that being human gives us. Each piece of jewelry takes time and dedication, carries energy, and tells stories. I believe that the production of crafts is a stance in a complex world, which is why I seek conscious design that reflects the moment we live in, through form or materiality.Read their story
