Variations in cross-stitch fabrics in place of traditional Aida is a trend that is here to stay. Custom-trimmed Aida pieces are a fun way to upscale cross-stitch projects. These pieces are the sizes of bookmarks but also make for attractive wall décor. Each piece has a minimum stitch count of 28 x 110 with 60+ trims available. Sizes are 14-count and 18-count, and measure approx. 3 in. x 9 in. and 2 ½ in. x 7 in., respectively. High-quality Aida is sewn with handmade, double-fold bias tape made from quilt cotton fabric, then the ends of the bias tape are sealed with an adhesive. Aida is most-commonly white, but colored-Aida such as antique white (very light yellow), or light blue, pink, green or brown may also be available. Note, the adhesive is not applied to the Aida.
