Author Biography Henry Glick began writing his memoirs shortly after his retirement from the Veterans Administration Hospital in Brooklyn, New York where he worked as an engineering draftsman for many years. He worked carefully and conscientiously on the manuscript for several years to present his story of survival. Born in Poland, in the early 20th century, he survived the Second World War in which all but one of his family members died. In 1960 he emigrated to America with his wife and two children.
