This lightly sweet sauce started as the Original sauce in which the perfect amount of sweet onions was added to mellow the vinegar providing a wonderfully smooth taste. We started with our 1934 Original sauce and added some pureed sweet onions and created the perfect smooth lightly sweet flavor of this wonderful sauce. There is just enough smoothness from the onions to take away the black pepper and vinegar flavor and leave you with a want for more.
