The ear wires are sterling, hypoallergenic and nickel free. Each earring measures just under 3 inches long including the ear wires (75mm) and 1/2 an inch wide (12.75mm). Also known as Pacific Cat's Eyes, these shells are made by nature and loved by many peoples and cultures around the world. The Eye of Shiva is the operculum of gastropods, or the 'lid' they use to close themselves into their shells. Every pair of Shiva earrings comes with reusable rubber backings to help keep them firmly in place.
