Our pottery is fired to 2300ºF making it extremely strong and durable for everyday use. All our functional pottery is food ware, dishwasher friendly, and microwave safe. Do not thermal shock your pottery dishware. This refers to stresses imposed by the volume changes associated with sudden shifts in temperature. Don't take a piece from extreme cold to hot or to direct open flame. Crystalline Glaze is the art of growing crystals in the glaze matrix during the firing. Expect glaze variations in color, size, placement, and number of crystals, as no two pieces are alike.
