The slub is the point: the yarn is spun with deliberate thick-and-thin variation, so the surface carries a soft irregular texture instead of reading flat. It is the look people reach for in a vintage tee, and it only comes from spinning the yarn that way — it cannot be printed or finished in later. Supima is extra-long staple American cotton. Longer fibers mean a smoother hand, less pilling, and better color once it is dyed. Supplied PFD (prepared for dyeing): undyed and scoured, ready to take colour. Because it is 100% cotton with nothing blended in, it dyes evenly and predictably — a reliable base for garment dyeing, tie dye, natural dyes and small-batch custom colour.
