Through contact with moisture, condensation, heat, grease or acidic liquids, dark spots, rings or light green-blue oxidation may appear over time. This is a normal characteristic of real copper and not a manufacturing defect. These discolorations and oxidation can generally be removed again with a suitable copper cleaner, such as Pitambari powder or HG copper cleaner. Maintenance Clean the tray with a soft cloth, warm water and a mild dishwashing detergent. Dry thoroughly immediately after cleaning. Do not use a scouring pad or aggressive cleaner, as this can cause scratches. Pitambari powder and HG copper cleaner are available in our webshop. Always follow the instructions on the packaging. Dry the tray well after use to limit staining and oxidation as much as possible. This reduces heavy oxidation and keeps the copper looking good for longer.
