Wholesale Breakfast plate Monkeys

This porcelain breakfast plate is part of the Sharing Moments tableware by Janny van der Heijden. In collaboration with Heinen Delfts Blauw, the television personality launched a Delft blue serviceware under the name ‘Sharing Moments – Monkeys’. The serviceware combines traditional Delft blue elements with modern details. Thus this plate features exotic blossoms and dangling monkeys playing with the slender branches. The satirical monkeys look very modern, but they are a popular theme that was already often seen on Delft blue porcelain four hundred years ago.
