Wholesale Amitabi Socks Gyunyu Pan (Milk Bread) by Taiko

These socks are from Taiko’s Amitabi range. They are a collaboration with the Kobayashi bakery in the Toyono area of Nagano, and celebrate the gyunyu pan (milk bread) for which they are known. The tabi style stocks and the traditional logo provide a double hit of nostalgia for Nagano residents. The colour of the socks is inspired by the whipped cream included in the bread. Tabi style socks have a split toe, and are traditional in Japan. They are comfortable, and offer opportunities to pair with sandals and similar footwear. About Taiko Taiko are sock specialists based in Nagano, north central Japan. Experts in the technical manufacture of sports socks, in recent years they have developed their original brand, and embarked on new adventures in woven footwear. This includes a return to the roots of pre-western style socks in Japan, the split toed ‘tabi’ once commonly worn with sandals.
