Emerald Cove® Organic Pacific Untoasted Sushi Nori is a dried, edible seaweed. A delicious and popular type of seaweed (or sea vegetable) used for making homemade sushi. Our untoasted sushi nori can also be shredded and sprinkled on rice dishes, green salads and stir fries. Finely shredded nori often appears as a condiment (Furikake), thanks to its unique flavor and crunchy texture. Nori is also eaten as a popular snack eating when toasted and dipped in soy sauce or seasoned with wasabi powder. Our Untoasted Sushi Nori maintains its freshness than toasted nori. Before using, each sheet must be waved for a second or two over a gas or electric eye to toast it.
