About SoulSilk

For the Love of Silk! SoulSilk started with the artist's love to add a pop of colour and flair to her ensemble of neutrals, blacks, whites and navy. A Graphic Designer by education turned textile artist, Simin felt that traditional methods of printing and mass producing scarves couldn’t add the uniqueness and character that people deserve to wear. She wanted to create an individual scarf, when worn makes you feel unique and special. The solution was to take inspiration from the ancient art form of silk painting and paint her unique creations directly on the silk canvas. Inspired by her surroundings, from nature to tribal art forms and from famous painters to her vivid imagination, each scarf is designed and hand painted individually giving it's original hand crafted feel.
