Organoleptic characteristics: precious wine of great structure and complexity, with its distinctive garnet red colour, it fully fits into the typical traditions of historic Valpolicella wines. Surprising, intense, with an elegant velvety taste, a warm and spiced bouquet with hints of raisins, chocolates, toasted almonds, and a persistent cacao, tobacco and liquorice aftertaste. This wine is produced only in the best years and with a limited number of bottles. Varieties of grapes: A blend of Corvina and Corvinone (80%) and Rondinella (20%) Harvest: by hand in late September. Hand picked and graded grapes are placed in wooden boxes and left o DRY for about 4 months in a naturally ventilated loft, losing up to 40-45% of their weight.
