Description
Apricots are eaten fresh, dried, or juiced. Its skin is velvety and the flesh is floral and sweet. Native to Central Asia, apricots were traded along the Great Silk Road and are now grown on every continent except Antarctica. In the U.S., California produces about 65,000 tons which pales against Turkey, with 795,768 tons or nearly 28% of the world’s supply followed by Iran and Uzbekistan. The Persians called them "yellow plum" (zardaloo) and its small, golden, round shape is immortalized in Arabic as armardine or “moon of faith.” During Ramadan, some observers drink apricot juice to break the fast.

This tea looks great in the clear glass jars it is packaged in, with the plain paper brown labels giving it a natural look. The prices are a good value and customers realize that. We have tried some of the teas and they are excellent. The only hitch in our first order was that our first shipment was returned to the brand damaged in shipping. They sent out a replacement shipment soon after.
