These handheld water whistles are made from painted wood in the design of several different colorful birds. They have a string attached so that you may hang it from your neck, a hook, or tie it onto a bag of some sort. They are able to stand on their own, as the bottom of the whistle is a flat base, so having to hang it is not necessary. The whistle is a part of the fipple flute family, and is diatonic (only plays a few keys).
