This cozy quilted pet bed product is made by reusing used kantha quilts. Kantha is a traditional handicraft that originated in Eastern India, where old saris (traditional women's clothing), and scraps are layered and finely stitched. They are hand-sewn for use as bedding and floor coverings in the home, not as a commercial product, and no two are exactly alike. As the quilts are made by layering multiple thin layers of fabric, the longer they are used the softer they become.
