I began Little Hoot Designs when I decided to take an early “retirement” from my first grade teaching position after our second daughter was born. My mom always sewed and monogrammed our clothes growing up, so designing clothing was already a part of me. Once I decided to step away from the teaching world, I realized pretty quickly that my passion for kids kept me wanting to continue doing something for them in a slightly different way…and thus began Little Hoot Designs! Myself and another artist hand draw all of our t-shirt designs. The mission for Little Hoot is to create a line of everyday clothing that they are excited to wear and most importantly, makes your kids happy.
