Our vintage, handmade Pahāḍa Bells come from the Himalayan mountains of Nepal and Tibet. Each bell is uniquely handcrafted to harness its own unique sound, allowing the animal's shepherd to know the individual whereabouts of each member of their flock. These bells are versatile! Adorn a wreath, hang them on the wall, use them as Christmas ornaments or even as part of your next meditation/sound therapy sesh. Use your imagination - the possibilities are endless. We're partnering with a group of Tibetan artisans living at a refugee camp outside of Pokhara, Nepal for our bells and compensating them with fair trade wages. Our team of female weavers hand-dye the wool and make the straps in their homes. Bells are crafted and soldered out of metal, then individually hamered (the unique dents create an individualized sound), they're then coated in oil and fired in a basin for 2-3 days to adjust the pitch they give off. No two bells or straps are alike.
