About Hazel + Hunt
Hey there! We are Kris and Candice, owners and designers at Hazel + Hunt. Our story of founding a small business started a few years ago, while we were both teachers. We were working in separate cities, on different schedules, dreaming about being able to work together. One of our goals in starting Hazel + Hunt was to develop a platform that would enable us to travel and connect with people from different backgrounds and walks of life. In fact, we began this journey while on a cross country road trip in the summer of 2017. After seeing the Grand Canyon, driving across the Mojave desert, and exploring little beach towns along the Pacific Coast Highway from San Diego to Seattle, we were feeling inspired. With a fresh idea, and a sense that it was time to act on it, we decided to get to work. We stopped at a coffee shop outside of Glacier National Park, and spent the day making our first two designs. Two weeks later, we were back home and getting ready for our first show!
