Description
“Don’t adventures ever have an end? I suppose not. Someone else always has to carry on the story.” The text inside Lord of the Pins comes from page 226 of The Fellowship of the Ring. The dialogue is spoken by Bilbo after seeing the ring again when he and Frodo reunite in Rivendell (the famous scary "NNNGAH!" bit in the film). He tells Frodo: "Put it away! I am sorry: sorry you have come in for this burden: sorry about everything. Don't adventures ever have an end? I suppose not. Someone else always has to carry on the story." The font in both is the lovely Plantin Light. A deluxe hinged pin celebrating the 65th anniversary of The Lord of the Rings. It was forged in the fires of Mount Doom so can't be destroyed by conventional fire and measures just over an inch high, making it easy to carry stories with you. • Hinged enamel pin • 2 colours with gold plating • Rubber clutch • Guaranteed good time
