Wholesale Large vintage salad bowl "La Salade du Chef" – Handcrafted French faience – Bistro and country spirit

This mixing bowl is immediately cheerful. The white base speckled with gray, the large red hand-painted flower in the center, the black stems radiating in all directions with a freedom of gesture that no machine can reproduce. And all around, on the outer rim, this inscription painted in black: "La Salade du Chef." Workshop piece, French handmade, 1960s–1980s. The kind of ceramic you would find in country house kitchens, on family tables, brought out for the big Sunday salads. Not a collector's item. A piece of daily life. On the back, a signature in black ink — that of an artisan who wanted to leave his name on his piece. An author's gesture, discreet but present. This mixing bowl did not come from a factory. Someone threw it on the wheel, glazed it, decorated it, signed it. And today it is looking for a new table, a new kitchen, a new "Salade du Chef."
