“Pigato” - Ligurian Riviera di Ponente D.O.C. Pigato is the most representative white of the western Ligurian Riviera. It belongs to the large Vermentino family from which it differs optically by the numerous “dots” that appear on the golden skin of its berries, and organoleptically for a slightly stronger acidity and stronger aromas. Winemaking follows the rules of modern enology, with brief maceration and fermentation at low temperatures precisely to enhance the peculiar characteristics of the grape variety.
