The earliest international Brigtish airline was serving a worldwide British Empire, Africa, India, S.E. Asia, Australia. Imperial’s aircraft were all built in England. Reknown for large flying boats as they were called, four engines luxury planes. Mind you, a trip from London to Melbourne might take eleven days with refueling stops on the way, and passengers being served in airport clubs and hotels.
