Description
This sticker was created using artwork from Elaine Meyer, an artist from San Diego, CA. The words are overlaid on one of her brilliant watercolors. "It's ironic that something so valuable and precious as love is free," she said. "You've just got to be willing to open your heart." Elaine was homeless from 2015-2017. "It can happen to almost anyone. I first stayed with friends, but I eventually ended up at Father Joe's. I wouldn't have survived on the streets." Fun fact: the date of the postmark is the date when France passed legislation making same sex marriage legal: May 18, 2013. Size: 1.5" x 1.26"
