This plant is native to northern South America (Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, and Venezuela). Watermelon Peperomia has unique, stunning green and silver foliage with a watermelon-like pattern, hence the name! This plant is a slow grower. Watermelon Peperomia usually grows to around 8 to 12 inches in both height and width, making it a perfect compact plant for well-lit table tops and bright, small spaces. Peperomia Watermelon produces unscented, green spikes (stems) that bear red, small flowers. Light/Soil/Water: + Medium to bright, indirect light, and it does not grow well in low light conditions. + Well-draining yet can hold some moisture soil. + Check the soil weekly and only water when the soil is dry to the touch. Drain well after each watering.
