Wholesale Ricard carafe in molded glass – Lion and sun embossed decoration – Collector's edition

There are objects that carry an entire era. This Ricard carafe is one of them. Flattened lenticular shape, short neck with a grip ring, fitted frosted glass stopper. The glass is thick, clear, blown-molded, with a slight natural tint. On both sides, the historic Ricard logo is molded in relief: a radiant sun with a crown of flames, with a leaping lion at the center. The lines are sharp, the relief deep. The period blue-and-gold neck label is present, legible, with the inscription RICARD in white letters on a navy blue background. Height about 18 cm, diameter about 20 cm. Collector advertising edition, 1970s–1980s. This type of carafe was intended for cafés and restaurants, placed on the bar or a terrace table, filled with cool water to dilute pastis. It served its purpose. It is now a collectible in its own right. Very good condition. Glass intact, original stopper, label present. A few light signs of use, consistent with its age.
