I am inspired by nature and insects in particular. All of my paintings are based on real insects because I find them so intriguing! This is a Bee in a bed of clover. When I was a little girl I loved to lay on my back in the clover and look at the clouds. I would lay there with my mama and we would imagine the clouds being different things; angels, tigers, a sailing ship. One day, I got stung by a bee. This artwork tells that story.
