Happy women's history month! I thought a lot about what it means to be a woman in creating this shirt and how much shame was attached to our gender all throughout history and even today. Here's a very short list of examples: 1. Everything is eve's fault because she ate the apple 😑 2. When it comes to royal families, kings who could only produce female heirs were always considered weak and they bled their wives 😑 3.We literally had to fight to get into the workplace, and now women who work in male dominated fields are still often shamed for speaking up. 😑 4. If we show any emotion we're weak, so we're expected to be strong but not too strong because then we might not find a husband.
