Sweets bought in Japan. Anything with a clear touch of the culture with both font characters and design. The icon shows the mountain Fuji and the classic Japanese red sun. Above it says Japan (Nippon) with katakana font characters and next to a Zen phrase with kanji characters: Every day is a good day. Writing “Japan” with Katakana is fundamentally wrong, since these fonts — unlike hiragana — are used for words that are not original Japanese, but a new word borrowed from, say, English. Therefore, it is a kind of “reverse engrish” where the Japanese language is not used correctly though it can well be read and understood.
