The mussel shovel is a pure tin product and is handmade in the Netherlands. This large mussel (13 cm long) is derived from the freshwater mussel. Freshwater mussels are bivalves that occur in freshwater and are not edible. Thanks to the special spring, the shovel works the same as a real mussel shell.
