Description
The Kawanishi H8K "Emily" was a Japanese World War II flying boat used for long-range reconnaissance, patrol, and transport. First flown in 1941, it was heavily armed, featuring multiple 20mm cannons and 7.7mm machine guns, making it one of the most formidable flying boats of the war. Powered by four Mitsubishi Kasei radial engines, it had excellent range, speed, and durability. The H8K conducted maritime patrols, bombing raids, and transport missions, proving resilient against enemy fighters. Despite limited production (167 built), it was considered one of the best flying boats of its time, serving until Japan's surrender in 1945. Length: 7" Width: 11"
