Titanium is free of iron so does not rust or corrode. Available in straight or bent tip. OUR TITANIUM LINE IS 6% ALUMINUM AND 4% VANADIUM. TITANIUM IS IMMUNE TO CORROSION, IS NON-MAGNETIC AND HAS AN EXCELLENT WEIGHT TO STRENGTH RATIO. Its WEIGHT IS NEARLY 50% LESS THAN THAT OF 400 SERIES STAINLESS STEEL. MOST OF OUR INSTRUMENTS CAN BE PRO-DUCED IN TITANIUM AND CAN BE FINISHED IN SATIN OR NON-REFLECTIVE BLUE.

My issue was not so much with the product itself as with the packaging. The overall shipment was packed poorly so that several of the individual packages opened in transit. In addition, the plastic on several of the packages appeared worn and was covered with dust. I wiped the dust off, but don't feel comfortable putting worn looking packages on my shelves.
