Wholesale White earthenware pitcher – Hand-painted polychrome floral decoration

This white faience pitcher has the simplicity of beautiful things. Its floral decoration, entirely hand-painted, pairs the cobalt blue of the large stems and garlands with the pink of the blooming flowers, the green of the leaves and the yellow of the scattered little dots. Each motif is drawn with confidence, in the spirit of popular faience where the painter's stroke remains visible and gives each piece its own character. The shape is generous and well balanced. The flared neck, wide pouring spout and sturdy handle make it a pitcher meant to be used, passed from hand to hand around a table. The interior, in unglazed terracotta, is characteristic of popular productions from the 1950s–1970s. The base bears a monogram incised in the raw clay, attribution to be confirmed. Height approximately 20 cm. Placed on a sideboard, a kitchen shelf or a garden table, it immediately brings the warm, colourful atmosphere sought by lovers of vintage décor and popular faience. The condition is very good, with no chips or visible restoration.
