About Flabby Daddy Sips

What's in a name? I grew up in Springfield Massachusetts in a blue collar family. Mom worked in an office during the day and kept herself busy with direct sales, bowling and softball. Dad was a truck driver for a local restaurant chain. He did that for over thirty years before retiring. I have fond memories of packing up my Barbie dolls and Holly Hobbie sleeping bag and hitting the road with him. Back in the 70’s & 80’s, CB handles were all the rage and everyone had one. My name was Sweet Potato and my dad’s was Flabby Daddy. I can’t think of a better way to honor those memories with him.Read their story
