Wholesale Sterling Silver Shiny Cowrie Shell Necklace

We used sterling silver to create our cowrie shell necklace as an alternative to natural shells. It symbolizes the importance of leaving natural shells in their native waters and the beauty of all shells in their natural habitat, Cowrie is the common name for a family of sea snails with smooth rounded shells. Sea snails graze on algae, regulating reefs and contributing to their health. They are an important food source for fish and sea birds. In addition, their skeletal shells provide shelter for other ocean animals. By leaving shells where they are found we are contributing to a healthy thriving ocean. The sterling silver we use for our jewelry is recycled and sourced locally in southern California. Our jewelry is handmade by a local artisan.
