the top zipper is tightly sewn in with a fabric covering...have to snip off the tight threads and it cuts into the jacket. I have never received a garment where you have to CUT off a zipper covering that is sewn INTO the jacket itself. Not taking chances to cut into the jacket fabric. Its machine sewn in there so its REALLY risky cutting it off.
