Description
This is an 8x20" linocut print of a Giant Sequoia in Sequoia National Park. It is printed with Cranfield Traditional Relief ink on Stonehenge paper in the color Fawn. What is a linocut print? A linocut print is created by carving a design into a block of linoleum, rolling ink onto the surface and laying paper or fabric on top then applying pressure to produce a print. It is a relief printing process very similar to woodcut.
