Founder Tessa developed a passion for animals early on. When her shepherd mix Nelsen developed a food allergy, Tessa, on the advice of her veterinarian and due to a lack of alternatives on the market, began cooking for him herself and developing plant-based recipes that met his needs. This is how VEGDOG was born – to fill the market gap and offer other dog owners in similar situations a healthy alternative. With VEGDOG, it's easy to feed your dog in the best possible way while supporting animal welfare and the climate. Plant-based foods exclude the most common main allergens for dogs and are therefore excellent for dogs with food allergies. VEGDOG products are developed in collaboration with veterinary specialists and are thoroughly tested for their nutrient content and compatibility. Our ever-growing product range offers something for every dog: wet and dry food as complete food, dietary supplements, and a colorful range of snacks for training sessions, dental care, or simply a tasty treat in between.
