Description
This creamy, earthy flavored truffle mushroom risotto will warm you up on the coldest of winter days and perfect for a romantic date night at home! One of my favorite things to do after work is to have a warm meal at home. The challenge is often, after a long day, coming up with something elegant and interesting to make but doesn’t take forever or require a dozen pots and pans. I think this truffle mushroom risotto provides the perfect solution! I know risotto is one of those dishes that a lot of people don’t make at home because they think it’s really difficult. While it does take 25 mins, and a bit of attention, it’s really not all that complicated and the result is a lovely side, or main dish, that will definitely impress your loved ones!

Not recommended. We tested the full soup and risotto lineup from Planet Mushrooms and were unanimously disappointed. Bland, poorly textured, and lacking real mushroom flavor. We had to add nearly two teaspoons of salt per serving just to bring out basic taste. Packaging is confusing and misleading (e.g., “serves 80” actually means 80g, serves 4 - poorly represented text color choices). At $11 MSRP, it felt overpriced. We couldn’t stock it in good faith and donated our full $600 order.
