Wholesale "Garlic" Original Painting

Garlic is humble but essential—sharp when raw, mellow and sweet when roasted, and always deeply aromatic. It’s the kind of ingredient that fills the kitchen before you even take a bite, setting the tone for whatever comes next. When you take a closer look, there’s a quiet beauty in its structure—the papery skins, the soft sheen of the cloves, and the gentle rhythm of its layers. I find the process of preparing garlic simple, familiar, and full of intention. Fresh ingredients like this are some of my favorite things to paint. This garlic painting is part of my Produce series in oil, and I’m so excited to share it with you. It’s a 6x6" painting on flat (1/8") hardboard, created with loose, painterly brushstrokes that bring out the softness and subtle texture of the bulb. The brushwork has a light texture, and the piece is varnished, arriving unframed and ready for its new home. Fun facts about garlic — Garlic contains a natural compound called allicin, which gives it both its distinctive smell and its health benefits.
