These earrings feature octahedra, three-dimensional shapes made up of eight tetrahedra. The octahedra dangle dynamically with their corners interlocking with the octahedra growing in size from top to bottom. This jewelry was designed in a computer using mathematical software and then brought to life using 3d printing technology. Hanusa design turns mathematical concepts into wearable pieces of art. Our nylon jewelry is created through a laser sintering process in which the model is fused together one layer at a time from white nylon powder. The jewelry is then dyed to give it its final color.
