Why are natural dyes better? Our natural vegetable dyes are nontoxic and biodegradable. We love using them as they create less water pollution, are skin-friendly, and as an added bonus the solid waste produced can be turned into natural compost. Please note: in the absence of the chemical mordants the vegetable dyes will fade in time and may stain light-coloured clothing. As a precaution, it is advisable to wash before use.
