Our Fissile collar is a chain martingale collar, it is made to easily slip on over your dog's head, and tighten to a snug fit when pulled. While the size of a slip can partly come down to personal preference, most people take the neck measurement and add one or two inches. For dogs with larger heads you may need to add 3 inches. You need to make sure the size you order can slide over your dog’s head so as long as the measurement allows this you do this you are all set. The safety clips are well made, and reliable. The collar is beautiful. The green is VERY dark, so even on black fur the colour is hard to see. I'd love to see it just a shade or two greener. But that's personal preference, and nothing to do with the quality. I'll be ordering again!
