Description
Each 4" stick burns for about 25 mins to half an hour. These sticks are shorter than average but they burn for a comparable amount of time to the long commercial varieties that are filled with fragrance oils and burn much hotter and faster. The ONLY ingredients in these incense sticks are ground sage (a mixture of white and common sage), makko (an inner bark that works like charcoal to keep everything burning), and acacia gum mixed with water for binding. This "dough" is layered onto raw untreated bamboo sticks by me and my team in our studio in beautiful BC, Canada. Burning real sage, or smudging, is a tradition performed for centuries by various cultures. Smudging one’s space, or even oneself, has many benefits, however the primary intention is usually to cleanse the space of negative energies. I only use plant materials that are sustainably grown and harvested. Packaged in bulk with info cards and compostable bags on the side. Jars and display shelves are available.

We have customers coming from all over to purchase these gorgeous hand-rolled sticks. Many of our regulars love them because they're so natural and don't give off any chemical or artificial scent, unlike other commercial incense brands. The only incense that had a noticeable and distinct scent was the sage. I was also very disappointed with the size of the sticks compared to the price point. While I appreciate the craftsmanship, I feel that the value could be improved for retailers looking to stock this product. As far as positive feedback, the packaging and info was great. Unfortunately, I will not be re-ordering this product in the future.
