Our pots are made out of clay from the region, handcrafted and fired in low-temperature kilns. They range from 4 inches to large pots over 39 inches high, some of them include a matching saucer, depending on their size. Each piece has been previously waterproof sealed so they are ready to be used either outdoors or indoors. Due to the nature of the materials, it is not unusual to see over time that the pots will start to absorb the minerals in the soil and will tarnish the pots with these minerals and they are also prone to growing powdery mildew since the clay absorbs to much liquid, but they could be easily cleaned. To better preserve pots and planters, follow these suggestions: - Clean with a dry or slightly damp cloth, avoiding excessive moisture. - Avoid overwatering to prevent crusty white residue caused by water pooling. - Protect from accidental damage by placing them in a safe location. The clay used is durable but can still crack. Keep in a ventilated and lighted area.
